This course provides an introduction to biostatistics, emphasizing experimental design, analysis of data, and special emphasis on statistical and financial aspects of randomized clinical trials for biomedical applications. There will be a final project involving development of a clinical trial protocol including the experimental design, recruitment and retention strategy, analysis plan and budget.
